A timeline of events in the case of Chris Dorner, the former Los Angeles police officer wanted in multiple killings, including a Riverside officer.

Dorner, 33, is believed to have written a lengthy manifesto in which he declared war against the LAPD for wrongly firing him. The manifesto identified targets in Dorner's alleged plan of revenge.

Authorities say Dorner began his run after they connected him to the murders of a former police captain's daughter and her fiancé.

The manhunt has included a task force comprised of local and federal authorities. It is believed to be the largest manhunt in California history.
