3 of 7: A set of tigon cubs in China are the offspring of a lioness named Mary and her tiger mate. They were born in December, but recently made their public debut.

Tigons are extremely rare and are the result of a female lion mating with a male tiger. A lyger is the product of a male lion mating with a female tiger. (KABC Photo)
