Robert Rizzo's Huntington Beach home for sale

1 of 14: Former Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo has put his posh Huntington Beach home up for sale as he awaits trial on corruption charges.

The asking price is $949,000. Realtor Bill Cuppy says Rizzo bought the 3,200-square-foot, two-story classic for $1.3 million in 2007 and invested thousands more in luxury upgrades, such as a walk-in closet with custom cabinetry and a chandelier. The house is near downtown Huntington Beach and nine blocks from the shore.

Rizzo, who allegedly earned an $800,000 yearly salary from the city of Bell, is facing approximately 50 criminal charges in a corruption scandal involving city funds. (KABC Photo)
