Robert Rizzo's Huntington Beach home for sale

13 of 14: Former Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo's house is nine blocks from the shore and near downtown Huntington Beach. He has put his home up for sale as he awaits trial on corruption charges.

The asking price is $949,000. Realtor Bill Cuppy says Rizzo bought the 3,200-square-foot, two-story classic for $1.3 million in 2007 and invested thousands more in luxury upgrades, such as a walk-in closet with custom cabinetry and a chandelier.

Rizzo, who allegedly earned an $800,000 yearly salary from the city of Bell, is facing approximately 50 criminal charges in a corruption scandal involving city funds. (KABC Photo)
