6 of 10: Missing hiker Kyndall Jack is rescued from the Cleveland National Forest in Orange County on Thursday, April 4, 2013.

The 18-year-old was hoisted aboard a helicopter just before noon and taken to UC Irvine in Orange. She got lost in the Trabuco Canyon area during a hike with her friend, 19-year-old Nicholas Cendoya, on Easter Sunday.

Cendoya was found Wednesday evening about a half-mile from where he and Jack parked their car. Cendoya, found shoeless and in surf shorts, was severely dehydrated and disoriented. He was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo and remains in very serious condition. (KABC Photo / AIR7 HD)
