Caught on tape: Man confronts robber in TX

HOUSTON (KABC) -- A good samaritan's good deed was caught on camera as he confronted a robber wrestling with a clerk at a gas station in Houston, TX.

Todd Ross walked in on a robber shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday night, but didn't just call police. He ran around the counter to help so that it was two against one.

Ross and the clerk tangled with the robber for about a minute before finally pinning him to the ground.

Gas station customers said it's nice to know there are brave guys like Ross out there.

"When I saw this video I was like man this is something. It made me feel good to see there are people that actually help someone when they are in trouble," said Reginald Provost, a frequent customer.

The men held the robber down until police arrived and arrested him.
