School closures announced due to severe winds

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (KABC) -- The following is a list of school closures in Southern California due to severe winds and damage on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.

• Alhambra Unified School District
• Arcadia Unified School District
• Azusa Unified School District
• Duarte Unified School District
• La Canada Unified School District
• Monrovia Unified School District
• Pasadena Unified School District
• San Gabriel Unified School District
• South Pasadena Unified School District
• Temple City Unified School District

Other closures

• Due to weather conditions, Griffith Park is closed until a complete assessment of the area is done.
• Due to wind damage, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden is closed until further notice.
• All Arcadia Recreation, Senior and Sports classes and events canceled Thursday and Friday
• Glendora Library
• Glendora City Hall
