Police arrested a man at Los Angeles International Airport after they discovered 16 weapons, plus about 1,000 rounds of ammunition, in the back of his pick-up truck.
Officers were conducting a routine security check at the airport when they found the weapons around noon.
The driver, who remains unidentified, was questioned and later arrested for investigation of weapons transportation violations.
Police say there's no indication the man was out to do any harm at the airport. They say he apparently went there to pick up someone.
No word on why the man was carrying so many weapons.
