UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- ABC7 is on your side helping you make it through this recession by showing you "Where the Jobs Are."

Live Nation, the world's largest concert promoter, is bringing nearly 1,500 jobs to California. More than 300 positions will open up right here in Southern California.

If music has a season in L.A., it's summer. That's when concerts in the area are in full bloom, and officials for Live Nation, the largest producer of live concerts in the world, say this season will be no different.

Live Nation is starting to hire roughly 500 people to staff all the concert venues in and around Los Angeles, like Universal CityWalk's Gibson Amphitheatre.

These positions don't include medical or dental, and they are considered seasonal, but that could change if they find the right person.

The positions could not only get you into some of the best concert acts in the world, but they could lead to permanent corporate jobs with Live Nation.
