NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KABC) -- A veteran high school algebra teacher in Tennessee had a major meltdown in front of his students.
The bizarre incident was caught on tape by an 11th grade student who posted it on YouTube.
The footage shows the teacher, Donald Woods throwing furniture and yelling at the students. Several of them ran out of the classroom.
Woods was eventually handcuffed and taken away on a stretcher. Officials said he suffered from an apparent nervous breakdown.
Woods has been a teacher in Nashville for 17 years.
He has been placed on administrative leave.
