WEST BOOTHBAY HARBOR, ME. (KABC) -- Maine State Aquarium in West Boothbay Harbor is home, temporarily, to a massive lobster that weighs in at a whopping 27 pounds.
The giant was brought to the aquarium on Monday after a shrimp trawler dragged it up.
Plans are to eventually release the lobster back into the ocean.
Aquarium officials say the lobster is the largest one they've ever seen.
