SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3,000 pound killer whale arrived in San Diego on Monday after being transported by an airplane and a big rig.
Keet the whale returned to SeaWorld Monday morning in a huge tank on the back of a flat-bed big rig after a flight from San Antonio, Texas in a C-130 cargo plane.
According to CNN, SeaWorld brought Keet back to improve the groupings of the killer whale family. SeaWorld San Diego officials said he's family and they're happy to have him back.
Keet first arrived in San Diego from San Antonio 1999. Since then, he has re-located to Ohio and then back to Texas.
