SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KABC) -- San Diego Zoo is celebrating their panda cub's first birthday.
Xiao Liwu was treated to a birthday cake made of ice, bamboo and fruit at the Monday morning party.
The cub, whose name means "little gift," was born to mother Bai Yun and father Gao Gao. Bai Yun was nearly 21 years old when she had the cub, making her the oldest Giant Panda known to give birth.
Visitors were encouraged to wear panda-themed clothing, while panda keepers wore red for the occasion.
