Photos show seal's close call with shark

CAPE TOWN, South Africa (KABC) -- Incredible pictures from the waters off Cape Town, South Africa, show a close call for a young seal.

A great white shark erupts from the ocean and tries to snatch the seal for lunch.

However, the agile young pup is able to perch on the nose of the shark and escape the rows of razor sharp teeth inside the sharks gaping mouth.

The seal leapt away from the shark. The man who took the photos says the seal escaped.
