Lowe's store closures include Westminster location

  

WESTMINSTER, Calif. (KABC) -- Lowe's Companies Inc. is closing 20 home improvement stores across the country, including one in Westminster.

The Lowe's signs have already been removed from the company's now-former Beach Blvd. location.

Lowes says the 20 stores being shuttered are low-performing.

Nearly 2,000 employees are being laid off nationwide.
