CONSUMER NEWS (KABC) -- A fire danger prompts a major recall of Playstation2 adaptors
Sony says it is recalling millions of AC adaptors sold with the slim version of its Playstation. The company has received reports of 38 cases of adaptors overheating and melting. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received four reports of minor property damage and two reports of minor burns.
You are urged to stop using the adaptors immediately and contact Sony for a free replacement. Log onto www.us.playstation.com for more information.
