Rolling Stones Cancel One Show, Delay Others

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

More Rolling Stones tour dates have been delayed and one show canceled due to singer Mick Jagger's throat troubles.

The 63-year-old rocker has been advised to take four days off to rest his voice, forcing the band to push back a scheduled Nov. 18 concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to Nov. 22, according to a statement on the band's Web site.

A Nov. 5 show in Oakland has been postponed until Nov. 6, while a Nov. 3 show in Vancouver has been rescheduled for Nov. 25. The group's scheduled Tuesday show at the Beacon Theater in New York City has been postponed until Wednesday.

The Stones show in Honolulu has been canceled, according to the statement.

On Monday, a Stones concert in New Jersey that had been canceled was pushed back to Nov. 17.

All tickets for the postponed concerts were expected to be honored at the rescheduled shows.

Back in August, Jagger's struggle with laryngitis forced the Stones to reschedule or cancel several dates in Europe.
