BEVERLY HILLS, April 2, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- Superstar Jennifer Lopez is doing her civic duty. Lopez has reported to jury duty at the Beverly Hills Courthouse.
An assistant was at her side in the jury holding room.
Both Lopez and the assistant were making cell phone calls and texting.
Only one fan approached the star in the holding room. He reportedly asked her to autograph a CD. It is not clear if she signed the CD or not.
Late Monday afternoon, Lopez and the other potential jurors in her group were dismissed. The judge told them the case was dropped.
An Eyewitness News camera captured a quick glimpse of Lopez as her car sped off during a break. You can watch the video by clicking on the player on the right.
