Tina Malave named host of ABC7's 'Eye On LA'

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Award-winning host Tina Malave has been named host of ABC7's "Eye on L.A.," KABC-TV announced on Thursday.

Malave has worked with shows such as "On The Red Carpet" and "E! News."

She moved to the West Coast 12 years ago and prides herself on being an "L.A. woman."

"L.A. is a city that's so vast, you really have to shrink your focus to be able to see all of its hidden gems. And the gems are endless," Malave said in a statement.

"Eye on L.A." airs Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. on ABC7.
