LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Singers, actors and athletes once again will be brought together for another round of 'Dancing With The Stars.'
The cast for season 14 was announced Tuesday on "Good Morning America." Among the celebrities is R&B legend and eight-time Grammy-winning singer Gladys Knight, who received a standing ovation from her fellow cast members.
"It was amazing. I'm thrilled, I'm overjoyed, I'm over the top," said Knight.
The 67-year-old songstress says she plans to do her "very, very, very best" to make it to the finals.
"Sometimes that will get you to the top. Quite a few times it'll get you to the top, you know, and sometimes it won't. But as long as you're giving it your all and you're having fun -- this is gonna be fun," she said.
Knight's partner, Tristan MacManus, praised her for her presence and passion.
Also competing for the mirror ball trophy this season is actor Jaleel White, best known for his TV character Steve Urkel on "Family Matters." He will be dancing with Kym Johnson.
And another singer who will try to transform himself into a dancer is Gavin DeGraw, who'll kick it up with Karina Smirnoff.
"You know she keeps secrets from me. She didn't tell me that she was last season's champion, perhaps that was to keep me from feeling the pressure," said DeGraw.
The rest of the cast includes "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd with pro dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy; TV personality Maria Menounos with pro dancer Derek Hough; "Melrose Place" actor Jack Wagner with pro dancer Anna Trebunskaya; actress Melissa Gilbert with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy; actor and model William Levy with pro dancer Cheryl Burke; tennis legend Martina Navratilova with pro dancer Tony Dovolani; Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan with pro dancer Chelsie Hightower; Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver with pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd; and opera star Katherine Jenkins with pro dancer Mark Ballas.
"Dancing With The Stars" returns with a two-hour season premiere on Monday, March 19, at 8 p.m. on ABC7.
