Batman-themed tour coming to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A Batman-themed tour to promote "The Dark Knight Rises" is coming to Los Angeles.

The Tumbler Tour features the Tumbler, which is Batman's prototype military vehicle, and the Bat Pod, a motorcycle-type vehicle. Both the Tumbler and the Bat Pod have served as high-powered modes of transportation for the comic book hero.

The Tumbler first appeared in "Batman Begins," and the Bat Pod was introduced in "The Dark Knight."

The Tumbler Tour hits the Los Angeles area on July 7.
