Dick Clark to be honored on ABC's New Year's Eve show

In its first New Year's Eve without Dick Clark in four decades, ABC will honor the entertainment icon by celebrating his life.

While the countdown show will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest from Times Square starting at 10 p.m. ET, Fergie and Jenny McCarthy will host a two-hour tribute to Clark that will air earlier at 8 p.m. ET.

The dedicated show will have clips and reminiscences of Clark, who did the first annual "New Year's Rockin' Eve" special on ABC in 1972. Clark died at age 82 in April after a massive heart attack.

ABC released the complete Dec. 31 lineup:

8 p.m. -10 p.m. ET -- "New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebrates Dick Clark"
10 p.m. - 11 p.m. ET --"Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013"
11:30 p.m. - 1:08 a.m. ET --"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013, Part 1"
1:08 a.m. - 2:12 a.m. ET --"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013, Part 2"

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2013" will feature performances by Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift and Neon Trees. The show will also include West Coast performances by Brandy, Flo Rida, Karmin, OneRepublic and Pitbull.
