LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- If you have someone in your life that likes to exercise, you're in luck. This holiday season, there are some cheap and cheerful gifts to help them keep their goal of good health.
Fitness pro Samantha Clayton is test-driving a few items, such as knuckle lights, which are hands-free lights for an early morning or evening outdoor workout. They come with batteries at $39.99.
"I think it's great because you get to see where you are going, but more importantly, cars will get to see you," said Clayton.
For home, yoga, Pilates, and even kickboxing, so-called peep-toe socks have grips on the bottom to avoid slips. They are more sanitary than going barefoot. Lorna Jane and Pure Toes both offer various colors and styles at $14.99 and $19.99, respectively.
Another fit tool to make workouts both convenient and safe is the SPIbelt for $34.95. SPI stands for Small Personal Item. It holds keys, phones, MP3 players or money, all in an easy-to-wear light-weight belt.
And the foldable, reusable anti-bottle called Vapur is environmental, light and portable - perfect for exercisers who travel. It averages about $10 and is offered in various styles and sizes.
"You can fill it when you get to the gym as opposed to carrying it full," said Clayton.
There's also the Monkey Mat. The little pocket container holds the lightweight, washable and water-proof mat. It has weighted corners with loops for tacking down. The center pocket holds keys and little items. It comes in four colors and costs $39.99.
Finally, it might not look like a fitness tool, but it helps those exercisers who want their carbohydrates but don't want to eat too much. The Babycakes waffle stick maker for $24.99 can get you those good treats in small packages.
