Free Gas In Exchange For Blood

HEALTH NEWS -- High gas prices have been driving people crazy so far this summer season, but now you may get some fuel just for donating blood.

Here is how it works. You donate blood and you get a free tank of gas. This is yet another way to help with hurricane relief efforts locally. Today (09.09.05) and tomorrow (09.10.05), a Canyon Country Shell dealer is holding a special event. It's a combination blood drive and donation campaign.

The event is co-sponsored by the Red Cross and Holy Cross Providence Hospital. Today, it's taking place on Via Princesa in Canyon Country, and tomorrow in Lancaster.
