Babies happier when mom quits smoking

Babies aren't only healthier if their mom's quit smoking -- they're happier. That's the finding from a new British study.

Researchers followed mothers and babies for two years. They say women who never smoked - or quit - had easygoing, cheerier and more adaptable babies, while women who didn't had the most difficult children, with low scores for positive moods.

Researchers say it's a significant association, and that is not due to chance.
