Man offers $1B for breast cancer cure

A Texas man is offering $1 billion to anyone who discovers a cure for breast cancer.

Mike Dewey launched the Victory Project after learning that his wife's battle with the disease increases the cancer risk for his daughters.

The 48-year-old Austin resident is not wealthy, but his campaign has collected $90,000 in donations and $22 million in pledges from businesses around the world.

The project has also attracted several cancer researchers.
