Cherry juice may help with insomnia
The thought of tart cherries may make you purse your lips, but some scientists say it may also help you get some shuteye.
University of Rochester researchers studied the effects of cherry juice on people suffering from insomnia.
They found regular juice drinkers were able to get to sleep faster and sleep sounder.
Cherries are one of the few natural sources of melatonin. A hormone that helps regulate sleep.
Part of this American Academy of Sleep study was funded by cherry juice manufacturers.
