Grabbing a donut with your breakfast may actually be a good thing. That's because doing so may help you lose weight.

A new study showed those who ate high-protein food along with a dessert at breakfast lost more weight than those who ate a light, low-carbohydrate breakfast.

Researchers say the study indicates those who ate the bigger breakfast were less hungry later in the day.

They were also less likely to eat sweets because they'd already eaten something sweet in the morning.
