The viewer vote is a mystery. But the combined judges' scores over two weeks put Ralph Macchio on top with an overall score of 45 out of 60. They're followed by Hines Ward and Kirstie Alley.

On Monday night, though, there was a three-way tie for first place.

Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke did it first with a score of 23 out of 30.

"Our goal was to beat last week," Jericho said. "Our biggest competition is ourselves. I can't even describe how much fun I had this week."

Then Romeo and his partner, Chelsie Hightower, matched them.

"This ballroom to me is like learning a new sport," Romeo said. "I want to go in there with a positive mind frame. I'm always going to give it 110 percent, and that's what I did."

Ward and partner Kym Johnson also quickstepped their way to the top.

"I feel like my job is not to let her down," Ward said. "I know she's been doing this a long time, so we go as far as I go."

Next on the leaderboard was last week's top scorer Macchio with his partner, Karina Smirnoff.

"We didn't take the easy way out. There was complicated choreography and I say, 'Can't we just--' and she says, 'Nope. You can do it," Macchio said.

This week's fifth place finisher ended her quickstep with an unscripted, not-so-quick kiss.

"I rarely am in this position without kissing, so it just seemed like the right thing to do," Alley said of her unexpected smooch with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Kendra Wilkinson and Louis van Amstel came in sixth place with a score of 19 out of 30.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas tied for seventh with Petra Nemcova and her partner, Dmitry Chaplin, with 18 out of 30 points.

In a three-way tie for last place with a score of 17 were Sugar Ray Leonard and Anna Trebunskaya, Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani, and Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer.

"I try to keep a good sense of humor about it, and nothing is perfect, including our score," Williams said.
