LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- "Dancing With The Stars" pro Val Chmerkovskiy is dancing over to daytime to the place his celebrity partner, Kelly Monaco, calls home: "General Hospital."
The often shirtless dancer visited the fictional Port Charles as a guest star.
"He was amazing. He was great. He's a professional. He's talented and handsome and everything," Monaco gushed. "He's got what it takes to be a leading man in daytime, that's for sure."
In a clip of the episode, Chmerkovskiy is seen flirting with Alexis Davis, played by actress Nancy Lee Grahn.
"I don't want to ruin the surprise, but it was very natural for me," Chmerkovskiy said. "I was having some dialogue with her mother on the show, and she's a very attractive woman, and so the dialogue had to be a bit cheeky."
Monaco hinted that Chmerkovskiy may even make a return visit to Port Charles.
"I've already been asked whether or not he's available on another day, so we'll see," she said.
While Monaco and Chmerkovskiy didn't quite make it to the winner's circle on "Dancing With The Stars," her costars on "General Hospital" devised a plan worthy of any good daytime drama.
"Don't worry Kelly. We just sent Sonny Corinthos and a few of his associates to retrieve the mirror ball from Melissa. You will always be our champion at 'General Hospital,'" actress Kirsten Storms joked in a video message.
Chmerkovskiy's "General Hospital" appearance will air on Dec. 10.
