July 21, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- An LAPD motorcycle officer on DUI patrol was hit by a suspected drunk driver.
The accident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday morning on Victory Boulevard in North Hollywood. Police say the suspected drunk driver made a left turn at Laurel Canyon Road, right in front of the officer. His motorcycle slammed into the other driver's vehicle.
Police say the officer may have suffered a broken leg.
