Hit-And-Run: Bicyclist Dies after Truck Runs Red Light

July 21, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- A 45-year-old Ventura Woman died Saturday morning after being hit by a truck that ran a red light while she was crossing a street on her bike Friday night.

Ventura police detectives say the suspect may have been driving a truck similar to a 1995 Ford F-150 XLT extended cab. The vehicle is either dark blue or teal green, with a gold or light-colored stripe on the lower sides. It also might have tinted windows and a dark colored stripe on the rear tailgate.

The woman was hit on Victoria Avenue.
