SANTA MONICA, Sept. 28, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- Police say an Oxnard teenager is in custody charged with raping and burglarizing a woman in her upscale home.
Investigators say the 17-year-old suspect is accused of entering the woman's home through a doggie door, then attacking and raping her at knifepoint.
Police say the suspect drove off in the woman's Mercedes and was tracked down today by Oxnard police.
Police believe the suspect may have done some work for the victim at her home.
Police say the woman's Mercedes and belongings were found in the suspect's home.
The teen has been jailed in Santa Monica and police believe he acted alone.
