DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- A loud protest broke out Thursday night when agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration raided a medical marijuana clinic in downtown Los Angeles.
Police kept demonstrators from federal drug enforcement agents as they served a search warrant on the 600 block of East First Street.
Agents were on the scene for several hours and walked out with several boxes.
There is no word on any arrests.
Medical marijuana advocates say this is the 21st time this year the DEA has shut down a medical marijuana clinic in the Los Angeles area.
