LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14, 2007 (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- It's going to be easier to find a place to recycle those used batteries in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Department of Public Works is teaming up with Jiffy Lube to set up battery recycling containers at dozens of local stores.
People can bring in their used AA, AAA, C, D, and button batteries.
For a list of participating stores you can call the Department of Public Works at 1-800-98-toxic or log onto Jiffy Lube's Web site.
