LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Fire investigators say a space heater may have sparked a deadly fire that killed two people on Christmas day.
The fire started Tuesday night around 6:45 p.m. on Budlong Ave. near 117th St. in Los Angeles. Firefighters had the blaze knocked down in about 20 minutes, but when they searched the house they found the bodies of a 48-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman. The victims were in the bedroom.
Firefighters say no one else was home at the time of the fire.
