NORTH HOLLYWOOD (KABC) -- Police in North Hollywood are searching for a would-be bandit who disguised himself as a skeleton.
The robber tried to hit two businesses. His first stop was a Jack In the Box on Lankershim Blvd.
When he couldn't get cash there, he went for a nearby mini mart.
Surveillance video from the mini mart caught the suspect in the act. It shows the would-be robber dressed in the skeleton costume.
He ran off without getting any money from that clerk either.
Anyone with information is asked to call LAPD North Hollywood division at (818) 623-4016.
