Westland Garden apartment shooting, 1 dead, 2 injured

  

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Toledo police responded to the Westland Garden apartments at 10:20 Sunday night on a call of a person shot.

When officers arrived Quidare Buffaloe, 23, was in the parking lot with people performing CPR on him. Buffaloe was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center where he later died.

Two others, 25-year-old Randy Popoff Jr. and Darnell Henson Jr., 21, were also shot, but their injuries are non-life threatening.

Few additional details are available at this time. Investigators say the victim was standing with a group of people when someone started shooting.
