SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- Picnickers can use some popular trails in the San Bernardino Mountains again.
Forest Falls Picnic Area, Big Falls Trailhead and Vivian Creek Trailhead will reopen Saturday. They have been closed since early July due to a bear scare.

Several visitors reported encounters with bears and the Forest Service decided to close the area as a precaution.
Park Rangers say visitors shouldn't feed the bears, and they should make sure not to leave food unattended because it draws the animals into the area.
