RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- Thieves hauled off a trailer containing robots belonging to a group of science students in Riverside.
The trailer disappeared sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning from a church parking lot near UC Riverside. It contained all of the robots, parts and tools belonging to Team Robokong 2493. The total loss was about $20,000 of equipment.
None of the equipment was insured. Without it, it's possible the students won't be able to participate in competitions next year.
If you have any information on the missing robots, you can call Team Robokong at (951) 790-9216.
