Phelan substitute teacher accused of inappropriate relationship w/ student

A substitute teacher at Serrano High School in Phelan has been arrested for an alleged inappropriate romantic encounter with a 15-year-old female student.

Investigators are looking for more victims.

An anonymous tip led to the arrest of Ryan Browning. San Bernardino sheriff's detectives say the inappropriate relationship began sometime between last September and October.

Browning was authorized to be a substitute teacher throughout San Bernardino County. He was arrested at his home in Wrightwood and booked at the Victor Valley Jail. He has since been released on $50,000 bail.
