Armed suspect targets elderly victim in SB home invasion

San Bernardino police are searching for a suspect who invaded an elderly victim's residence at gunpoint.

The burglary occurred in the 3700 block of North Mayfield Avenue around 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20.

According to authorities, the suspect entered the 77-year-old victim's residence with his gun drawn. Fearing for her life, the victim complied with the suspect and gave him the property he demanded. He then fled.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid to late 20s, standing around 5 feet 9 inches with a thin build and short hair.
