A jury has found a Lake Elsinore man guilty of murdering his girlfriend and stuffing her body in a suitcase.

Dorsey, 28, was accused of killing 47-year-old Christine Stewart in August 2012.

Her body was found in a suitcase left behind in a Poway motel room. Dorsey was arrested in October in Mexico.

A jury convicted Dorsey of first-degree murder. He faces life in prison. A sentencing date is set for Monday.
