HESPERIA, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a carjacking suspect was killed in a fiery crash while being pursued by San Bernardino sheriff's deputies.
The chase began overnight in Hesperia, as deputies tried to pull the man over.
The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed on the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway, just north of the 10 Freeway.
The man died when the car caught fire.
No other injuries were reported.
