FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A funeral procession officer was injured following a crash on the westbound 10 Freeway in Fontana Saturday.
Four cars were involved in the accident near Cherry and Etiwanda avenues and around 1 p.m.
According to officials, the driver of a red Toyota Tundra allegedly lost control of his truck and struck the motorcyclist.
The victim was ejected from his vehicle and into the center median. The driver's truck rolled and its tire came off.
Officials said it was unclear if the funeral procession officer was on his way to or from an event at the time of the crash. He suffered serious injuries including a broken leg and an abrasion.
The driver was also taken to the hospital. His injuries remain unclear.
The accident briefly caused traffic delays in the area.
