Metrolink is now suing the company that provides its engineers in the wake of the deadly train crash in Chatsworth.
According to the L.A. Times, the Metrolink board will meet on Friday to discuss the lawsuit that was filed in federal court this week against Connex Railroad LLC.
A commuter train slammed head-on into a freight train last month, killing 25 people, including engineer Robert Sanchez.
Metrolink officials have voiced concerns about evidence that Sanchez used his cell phone to exchange text messages moments before the crash in violation of company policy.
