Nationwide airfare war good for travelers

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- JetBlue Airways is offering non-stop flights between Long Beach and San Francisco for as little as $14 each way.

For a limited time, you can fly on JetBlue for less than the price of checking a bag on other airlines. The company is offering some tickets as low $14, part of a nationwide airfare war.

Those $14 seats are good on flights between Long Beach and San Francisco for travel through next Wednesday, April 8.

• Midwest Airlines travel deals

The fares must be purchased today, Apr. 2, and are good for travel through next Wednesday, Apr. 8.

Customers can also get a flight from San Francisco to New York for the same price.

The $14 fares to/from SFO are available until 11:59 p.m. MDT, or until availability is gone, whichever is first.

American, Southwest, and United airlines are also offering deep discounts.
