Inglewood adds 3 more red light cameras

Friday, August 21, 2009

The city of Inglewood is adding three more red light cameras as it steps up efforts to crack down on drivers who speed through intersections.

The city already has 11 red light cameras operating.

There will be a 30-day grace period for the new intersections, which means until September 21, drivers caught going through red lights will only be given warnings.

Those three new locations are westbound at Manchester Boulevard and Prairie, eastbound at the same Manchester and Prairie location and Florence Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue.
