3 UCLA students arrested for stabbings

Friday, October 02, 2009

Three UCLA students have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an off-campus fight last month that left two of their fellow students with stab wounds.

The Orange County Register reports that the suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Isaiah Hee Cho of Westminster, 19-year-old Chris Yi of Huntington Beach and 19-year-old Justin Kim of La Crescenta.

UCLA spokesman Phil Hampton says the three students were taken into custody on campus on Thursday. Two of the students have been charged with attempted murder. The third has been charged with accessory to attempted murder.

Campus police arrested four other men on the night of the party, Sept. 22, at Lambda Phi Epsilon.

They have been arraigned on charges of attempted murder and aggravated mayhem. They are each being held on $2 million bail.
