COMMERCE, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters and a hazardous materials crew are cleaning up in Commerce after hundreds of gallons of a flammable solvent leaked at a rail yard.
The tank began leaking around 6:30 a.m. on Sheila Street near Washington Boulevard.
Authorities estimate that between 550 to 1,000 gallons of liquid leaked. The exact name of the flammable solvent has not yet been released.
The spill is now contained and crews are going to use a pump to put the liquid into another container.
One firefighter suffered a minor burn, and another was treated for inhaling too many fumes.
